Small Grants
The Foundation for Geauga Parks awards Small Grants of $200 to $5,000 to Geauga County townships, parks, organizations, and individuals for projects and programs that promote community engagement with nature.
The Foundation for Geauga Parks allocates funding each year for its Small Grants Program. Geauga County townships, county and municipal parks, organizations, and individuals are eligible to apply for grants ranging from $200 to $5,000. Funding supports projects, programs, and services that advance the Foundation’s mission of fostering community engagement with nature.
How do I apply for a small grant?
The Foundation for Geauga Parks is not accepting new Small Grant applications as of May 14, 2026. We are currently reviewing previously submitted requests and will reopen the application process once that review is complete. Please check back for updates.
What is the impact of the small grant program?
Small grants allow us to maximize nature-related projects county-wide and enable local organizations and individuals to identify potential projects and improve parks and natural spaces in their own communities.
