ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
ABOUT US
The Foundation for Geauga Parks was founded in 1990 under the name "Geauga Park District Foundation" as an independent organization with a non-profit, public charitable mission status designated by the IRS as a 501(c) 3, 509 A1. Most projects were focused on the Geauga Park District parks and trails. In 2012, the Foundation legally changed its IRS status to an independent 501(c)(3) 509(a)(1) public charity which expanded its ability to raise funds to support ANY park entity in Geauga County.
MISSION
