The Foundation for Geauga Parks has pledged $50,000 toward the development of the UH Geauga Community Wellness Trail and secured a $10,000 cornerstone gift from the Patterson Family. University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center created a new 0.8-mile Community Wellness Trail—a peaceful, accessible path winding through the forested beauty of an undeveloped portion of the hospital's land. The trail features a solid base of crushed rock and level, wooded path - walkers may choose the 0.8 mile loop or use a cut-through for a 0.5 mile course. Designed with wellness in mind, the trail offers a calming retreat that supports the physical and mental well-being for patients, staff, visitors, and the community.
