Since 2020, the Foundation has supported the future of conservation by awarding scholarship funds to students pursuing higher education in fields focused on enviornmental studies. In 2026, The Foundation for Geauga Parks announced the creation of the William D. Ginn Conservation Scholarship, an annual $2,500 scholarship to be awarded to a graduating Geauga County high school senior pursuing studies in environmental science, conservation, natural resources, ecology, wildlife biology, sustainability, or a related field.
