The Foundation for Geauga Parks (FGP) is offering $10,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors who live in or attend school in Geauga County and plan to continue their education in nature- or environment-related fields.
“Our Conservation Scholarship program began in 2020 with one $1000 award and has grown through generous donations to $10,000 awarded last year to six area students,” says FGP Executive Director Christine Davidson. “The Foundation focuses not just on conservation and park enhancement, but also nature education. The scholarship program enables us to help our future environmental stewards get the education they need to conserve, improve and monitor our natural habitats and wildlife and continue nature education for generations to come.”
High school seniors may apply now through February 27, 2026, for the Foundation for Geauga Parks Conservation Scholarship Program – student awardees typically receive $1,000 or $2,000 scholarships each.
