Hiking Through Grief is a moving documentary about loss, healing, and the power of nature. Filmed in Geauga County, it features the “Power of JOy” hiking group—widows and widowers finding strength through shared outdoor experiences—and highlights the area's scenic parks. Now in post-production, the film is raising $25,000 in its Phase II campaign to support final editing, marketing, outreach, and festival submissions. A companion guide is also in development for use in therapeutic and educational settings. Produced by Foundation trustee Engelina Koberna, the film offers comfort and hope to those navigating grief.
