Seeds of Conservation: An Exclusive Creekside Experience!

Imagine a place where conservation, agriculture, and community come together in one remarkable landscape.

On Saturday, August 8, the Foundation for Geauga Parks invites you on an exclusive behind-the-scenes visit to Creekside Collaborative, one of Northeast Ohio's most innovative conservation partnerships.

This isn't just a farm.

It's a 16-acre living laboratory where native trees are grown to restore ecosystems, sustainable agriculture connects people to healthy food, and environmental organizations are redefining what conservation looks like for future generations.

As the Foundation continues to build relationships with organizations leading innovative work across our region, we're excited to introduce our members and supporters to partners whose ideas inspire our own mission.

Your experience includes:

~A guided tasting tour of the sustainable urban farm and hands-on harvesting of your favorites!

~An inside look at a native tree nursery and how native plants are grown for ecological restoration across Northeast Ohio

~Time to relax, explore the grounds, and enjoy your own picnic lunch after the tour (your water and lunch can be stored in a cooler for enjoyment after the tour

Trail Conditions: Flat

Footwear & Clothing: Wear comfortable footwear-flat, easy walking surfaces.

Dogs & Pets: Please leave dogs and other pets at home unless the event description specifically states that they are permitted. Service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable law.

What to Bring: Water is recommended for all excursions. Depending on the program, you may also wish to bring sunscreen or insect repellent.

Parking: Follow Randolph Road toward the red barn; look for FGP signage indicating where to park

Additional Notes: Excursions take place in natural outdoor settings. Conditions may change due to weather, trail conditions, wildlife activity, or other site-specific factors. Foundation staff or excursion leaders may adjust the route or program as needed for participant safety and resource protection.

There are no flush restrooms; only portable toilets.

Ticket price for this Wellness in the Wild program is $15 - proceeds benefit conservation, park enhancement, and nature education in Geauga County through the Foundation for Geauga Parks.

-Member Plus level participants receive one free ticket AND a free ticket for a friend attending with you for one Guided Excursion per plan year [use your voucher code to select this as your free session].

Make sure you're logged into the website and when you enter your information and select your tickets, the membership option you chose will be applied.

If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can release your spot to another guest. Registrations and ticket purchases are nonrefundable, but advance notice of cancellations is greatly appreciated, especially for limited-capacity programs and excursions.
