Join us for a guided hike in old growth forest with scenic views of East Branch Reservoir. Eagles’ nests, waterfowl, and remains of old cabins can be seen along this stretch of the Buckeye Trail.

About the event

A Geauga Park District naturalist guides this 2 to 3 mile hike in old growth forest with scenic views of East Branch Reservoir. The trail is wide and graveled, and we may walk segments on natural surface paths and on the Maple Highlands Trail blacktop.


DETAILS:

  • Parking is at the south entrance 13365 SR 608 in the main paved lot, a short drive into the park.

  • Dress for the weather and wear footwear for hiking.

  • Dogs on leash are welcome.

  • Limited to 30 people.
