About the event

Join Geauga Park District Biologist Paul Pira for an up-close look at a stunning new cold-water stream! The stream was created by harnessing the park’s natural springs on this reclaimed golf course on the west slope of the West Branch of the Cuyahoga River valley. This innovative, grant-funded project used cutting-edge bioengineering to create vital habitat for Geauga County’s native brook trout—the only location this state-endangered species is found in Ohio. Don’t miss this unique blend of nature, science, and restoration in action!

Parking: Park in the main parking lot. The event starts at the shelter and will move to the stream.

Space is limited to 30 participants, so be sure to register early! Only those who are registered may attend—we’re unable to accommodate walk-ins or additional guests. If the event fills up, you’re welcome to join the waitlist, but please note that only those contacted directly due to cancellations…
