About the event
Autumn has a sound all its own — colorful, reflective, nostalgic, and full of change. In this guided program, each musical work will be introduced with background on the composer, the story behind the piece, and the way the music reflects the mood of autumn. Carefully chosen videos will pair the music with seasonal scenes, nature imagery, and selected performance clips.
Guests will learn not only what to listen for in the music, but also who created it and why. The program may also explore the era in which a piece emerged, offering a broader view of how history, culture, and personal experience shaped the composer’s work. Join us for a thoughtful and visually engaging program that celebrates autumn through music, story, color, and reflection.
We are grateful to Richard and Christie Frenchie, our Membership Program presenting sponsors, and their generous nature-related philanthropy in Geauga County!
