About the event
Marc Shulgold—veteran music journalist and longtime music history professor—guides audiences through a captivating virtual program series where classical music meets the natural world. Each one-hour session blends lively, accessible storytelling with short musical excerpts (2–3 minutes each) paired with immersive nature imagery or performance video, followed by time for audience questions. Monthly programs are scheduled seasonally and explore themes like The Seasons, Flowers, Birds and Bees, Mountains, Forests, Rivers, The Ocean (featuring Debussy’s La Mer), and A Journey to the Cosmos—offering members and sponsors a memorable, enriching experience that connects community with nature through sound and story.
