About the event
This program is perfect for youngsters and young-at-heart with hands-on nature discovery. Adults will learn how to create, enhance, and care for a pond and and tap into the expertise of Soil and Water Conservation District professionals. Naturalist Dan Best brings his “Pond Critter Toybox” to discover aquatic life on, in, and under the water and see their fascinating adaptations for moving, breathing, feeding, and avoiding predators. Plan to get your hands—and maybe more of you—wet. Girard Ligotti, Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District Technician, shares info and resources for improving aquatic habitat on your property.
