Foundation for Geauga Parks Response to COVID-19

There is no one on the planet who is not somehow being affected by the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The board and staff of the Foundation for Geauga Parks extend our heartfelt best wishes and good health to all families, friends, and neighbors in Geauga County and beyond.

In respect to Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s recommendation to practice social distancing for the foreseeable future, the Foundation for Geauga Parks suspended monthly Explorers Series hike or other public events in 2020.

Update in 2022: FGP has resumed public event, but in all cases will continue to follow CDC recommendations for social distancing and mask wearing when applicable.

Meanwhile, it is highly recommended by health care professionals that you take advantage of nature and the outdoors as a resource for furthering the physical and mental well-being of yourself and your families.  We in Geauga County have a wonderful resource in more than 10,000 acres of clean and safe county and township parks, which includes miles of trails for exploration. Be well and enjoy.
